Csodaszarvas is "the miraculous stag" in Hungarian. This white stag reveals pathways to hidden knowledge if one chooses to follow. To kill the white stag is, however, a grave desecration and will lead to profound suffering. In some Hungarian pagan spiritualities, it is said that Csodaszarvas guided the brothers Hunor and Magor to form the Hunnic and Magyar tribes which would become the Hungarian people.
