Nøkken performs two versions of the devilish violin piece, "Overhead Freeway" from "Empty City" composed for him by Stephen Ian Savage. Nøkken, premiered it at The Auricle Chamber ensemble's debut concert, Jan. 15th, 2017, at The Museum of Human Achievement (MoHA), Austin, TX. The work was written from 2013-2015 in Cincinnati, Ohio and Austin, Texas. Two versions are included: "Wood" on acoustic violin and "Metal" on electric using distortion.
